Volkswagen Folklore Meet Uzana 2026

For the 15th year in a row, the Volkswagen Fan Club of Bulgaria invites you to escape the noise of the city and turn the heart of Bulgaria into our shared home. The Uzana area above Gabrovo is waiting for us again, greener, more beautiful and ready to bring together people who share the same passion.

This is not just another car meet. It is a tradition that for a decade and a half has taught us one thing: the best moments are born where nature meets love for the brand.

What awaits us this year?
Fresh air and shared emotions: two days and nights under the open sky in the geographical centre of Bulgaria.

Cars with soul: a place where every project, classic or everyday car tells a story.

Time for friends: no rush, no schedules, just time to gather around the barbecue, swap experiences, laugh and enjoy the cool mountain air.

It doesn't matter whether you drive a legendary classic, a modern flagship, or simply love the spirit of the VW community: you are part of this family. Bring your good mood, your tents, your family and your friends.

As in previous years, there will be chemical toilets. Get ready for some interesting competitive and fun activities too!

 Entry fee: 20 euro per car for both days (25 on site, and 15 if you only come on Saturday).

Let's go over the rules again, so that we all have a good time without tense moments or anyone getting upset
1. Lighting fires outside metal containers (grills, barbecues) is forbidden. No fire on the ground, even if surrounded by stones.
2. Drifting, burnouts and careless night-time laps of the meadows are forbidden! Rev limiter sessions are forbidden outside the event in the programme on Saturday evening! Limiter sessions and revving at night during the folklore programme are not allowed! Please be considerate of the other fans who have come to the meet! Be friendly and careful.
3. THE ONLY loud music will come from the stage! The sound from the stage will stop at 1 a.m., after which everyone can enjoy themselves with quiet music at their own spot without disturbing others. If you want loud music, there are nightclubs! Let's enjoy the meet like one close-knit family around the fire, with stories about our favourite brand!
4. Bring bin bags and clean up after yourselves. Let's show that, as car fans of the most popular brand, we also care about nature and cleanliness in our country! On Sunday there will be containers for the rubbish collection. PLEASE empty barbecue embers only when they are PUT OUT, and away from trees and tall grass
